BloomHealth ("BloomHealth", "we", "us") is a personal health-tracking app operated by an individual developer based in the United Kingdom. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these Terms of Service.
BloomHealth is for personal health tracking. You agree to use the service lawfully and not to abuse, reverse-engineer, scrape, resell, or circumvent rate limits or technical protections. You won't upload content you don't have the right to share, and you won't use BloomHealth to harass, deceive, or harm others.
BloomHealth is not intended for anyone under 13. By using the app you confirm you are at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority in your country, you confirm a parent or legal guardian has reviewed these terms and consents on your behalf.
BloomHealth is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The AI summaries, calorie estimates, macro targets, and trend insights are informational only and are not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before changing your diet, training, medication, or any other aspect of your care. Never disregard professional medical advice because of something you read in BloomHealth.
BloomHealth uses AI to identify foods in photos, estimate calories and macros, draft meal plans, and chat with you about your data. These outputs are automated approximations. They may misidentify food, miscount calories, or surface insights that don't apply to your situation. Use BloomHealth's numbers as a guide, not as ground truth — and confirm anything material with a qualified professional or a verified label.
You retain ownership of everything you put into BloomHealth: meal photos, food and weight logs, lab reports, chat messages, and notes ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content, you grant BloomHealth a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, process, transmit, and display it solely to operate and improve the service for you — including sending meal photos to third-party AI providers (see the Privacy Policy) so we can estimate calories and macros. We do not sell Your Content and we do not use it to train third-party foundation models. Aggregated, de-identified statistics (e.g. "average plate size") may be used internally to improve recognition accuracy.
BloomHealth Pro is sold as a recurring subscription billed monthly or yearly. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period at the price shown in the app, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal. Payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms — we never see or store your card details. Cancel anytime from your device's subscription settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep Pro until then. Refunds for partial periods are not generally offered and are handled by Apple or Google according to their refund policies, though we'll review reasonable requests sent to support@getbloomhealth.com.
You can delete your account at any time from in-app settings; we permanently delete your data within 30 days (see the Privacy Policy for what is kept and why). We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, abuse the service, or use it in a way that risks harm to you or others. Where reasonable we will give you notice and an opportunity to fix the issue before terminating.
Your health data is yours. You can export or permanently delete it at any time from account settings.
BloomHealth is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of BloomHealth is capped at the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) GBP £100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under English law (for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You and BloomHealth agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales for any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms, except that, if you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you are habitually resident, as required by applicable consumer-protection law.
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll bump the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If the changes are material we'll also notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use BloomHealth after a change means you accept the updated terms.
